Spotted: rebuilt three times before it looked like hers

Spotted had no audience and no storefront yet. We built the brand, the product catalog, and the store together from the ground up.

The challenge

Spotted was launching with zero storefront and no audience yet. We had to build the brand identity, organize the initial product photography, and create a store that felt authentic to her vision right from launch, not like a template dropped on top of it.

The approach

Built on WordPress with WooCommerce and Elementor, so she could run the store herself after handoff. The design pulled straight from her custom brand assets and product photography instead of a stock template, and the catalog is organized around her planned collection drops: tops, totes, bodysuits, shorts, and bags, grouped by drop instead of buried in one long list.

Storefront & Catalog: Drop-based organization matching her planned product drops
Mobile Storefront: Fast, frictionless shopping and checkout on smartphones

The tradeoff

Scope and design changed three times before the build was final. Locking the structure early would have gotten the site live faster, but it would have shipped something that didn't match what she was picturing. I kept rebuilding sections instead of defending the first version, and the client absorbed the extra time.

The result

No traffic numbers yet, the store just launched. What matters more right now: she said the finished site finally felt like her own idea and her own journey, not a template with her name on it.
